Looking for an old writing of mine (required by my retired Mathematics university teacher), I found old photographs of uncomplete models of mine destroyed when I changed home in 1999. First the Mirage F3L was having a Low wing and no tailplane like a Mirage 3, and a Jaguar A canopy/eye to improve... her beauty.
Remaining to be done was sanding, gluing air-scoops (no problem) then adapting the canopy (probable failure to come, thus delayed again and again)... Till natural death >:( .

Then "improved" (my way) Spitefuls 14 (Pegasus 1/72, the Mirage and Jaguar parts above were Heller 1/72), turned tail-less gliders. Nothing more for the one on the right. For the one on the left: slimming aesthétical surgery with moving the canopy rearwards.

Last photograph: the Spitefulire 5c. This was another Pegasus bubble-canopy Spiteful treated like the others then I cut the back to install (very rear) a Spitfire Vc canopy (Airfix). But getting correct this other-canopy fitting was above my skills. Maybe I did it in 1990, delaying completion during years, jettisoning it in 1999... That may explain you why I am painting canopies now and accepting very raw results, very far from your quality standards. These are stories of failures, before I changed my mind and found fun differently, dropping usual quality standards in modelling, sorry.

I love the Mirage F3L, that's a nice plane :)

Maybe a lightweight fighter for African or SE Asia country.

Tophe old mate. I also suffer from the "ideas never finished" syndrome. I call mine collectively the " naughty box" there is a multitude lurking in there, a fact IHG will confirm.

Maybe, you could take them out of the box for an hour, make pictures of them - just how they are (unfinished) - and make a topic like I did. In this "current (and finished) projects" forum, it is appropriate I think, and giving ideas to friends almost as finished ones or almost-finished. Ideas are pleasant in themselves, enjoyable at least. Thanks if you do it someday, no problem if you don't.
