The planes look better for sure, but the trees look even more fake than before.
That is one of the weak spots in my photography base I will try to improve in the next couple of weeks. I am going to airbrush a new backdrop next week that will darken the area behind the trees to resemble a more densly forested scene. That should help the tree problem somewhat, also a larger more detailed hanger will help draw attention away from those fake trees.

I really like the pictures in some of my books I have that show captured German aircraft at the edge of the forests in Germany. I had wanted to try and copy some of the scenes in my pictures of my models, but the trees don't look right. If I could get better looking trees I think it would look really cool to photograph some late model Fw 190s and Bf 109s mixed with a few Ta 183s and other Luft 46 types in a scene that would resemble captured aircraft after the war ended next to a tree line. At least thats what I would like to be able to do. Easy to say, hard to do.

Try and build a few of those wire trees from JHMs link...that would look cool !

But then again, there's not all that many big trees in the middle of an airfield !

I am fighting a losing battle with time, I might be able make better trees, but at the expense of so many other worthy projects that I would like to start soon.
The good news for me is I asked for one extra day off next week, maybe I can get something done then.
