Love this pic, I have not seen it before

Carlos, just remembered, those Raketentrupen are available in 1/35 (the pic is of the box art), along with some of the machines from the DUST comics.  Not sure where'll you find them though, they seem rare & are OOP.

In box review of the Rakentrupen & 'Gunther':

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Speaking of PAVs, I recently stumbled across one of the most practical - the Samson Motorworks' SkyBike:

See http://www.samsonmotorworks.com/ for more info and much better pictures.

Nice!  Very sleek looking, has just got to appear in a Bond film!

Almost forgot about this one, the Westland WG.33.  As Westland attempt to develop that holy grail, an aerial jeep.

That's in the Helicopter Museum at Weston-s-Mare. It's positively MINUTE! That must be a pretty short squaddie in the pic, I'm darned if I could get in the teeny thing.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Looks again Kit, there are two people in that thing.

Found this on gizmag.com and it looks like they have made a few improvements to the original concept.  The Gryphon winged suit has a 5:1 glide ratio, electronic guidance system and heads-up display.  The Gryphon was designed by SPELCO (

Hehe, darn right! They BOTH must be tiny! Perhaps they gave up feeding them first?  ;D
