In the fouth issue of this new UK magazine there is a build aricle of Andy Davies (aka Gen Melchett) EE P.42 Hypersonic scratchbuild.

Its rather nice to a Whif scratchbuild published as an article and even grace the front cover of a mainstream magazine. Andys USAF Valkyrie and Freightdog P1154 build have already appeared in earlier issues, but this is the first scratchbuild. Of course its a fantastic model that looks superb in its alclad finish and deserves to be highlighted, but its does alot to promote the What-if concept.

Nice work Andy, not only in building the model to a superb standard but then also photographing it and writing up an enjoyable build article worthy of publication.

Got to agree there Geoff. Inspirational build.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I spotted that wonderful build in the magazine at Milton Keynes and was most impressed. I knew I'd heard of his work before when he thanked two of his best friends for encouraging him, Geoff Baker and Chris Payne!
