Never browse the Fantastic Plastic website. It will lead to drooling, desire and pose a deadly threat to your credit card....

They are producing the AT-99 Scorpion helicopter gunship from the movie Avatar, expected release in June 2010.

Later this year they will have the Hammerhead fighter from Space:Above And Beyond, in 1/72 scale for the first time.

I don't like the Scorpion, I prefer the Samson http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Aerospatiale_SA-2_Samson

Obviously a Huey made even more ugly, by stretching the nose even further. Bring back the stub-nose Huey's! Still, a Huey, so it's still sub-zero

Reminds me a lot more of a Eurocopter product in the nose, actually. Which is understandable, since it is an Aerospatiale product in-universe.

My thoughts too.  I thought it was a ducted fan UH-1N.  I like the Scorpian more, only barely (thought Cameron could have done better with futuristic heli-aircraft).  Love the Venture shuttles in the movie
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!
