Hi folks: I want a spare canopy for a 1/72nd Heinkel He.112. Three possibilities that I can see:

1. Someone has a spare from the Heller kit or some other He.112 kit (maybe some of the limited run ones have two vac form ones?) and will sell/swap.

2. Someone already has the Falcon vac-form canopy set (See below) and will sell/swap the He.112 one.

3. I'm not buying the Falcon set at £10.00 for one canopy, but if enough people will commit to buying other canopies from the set, I'll buy it myself and split it. Anyone interested?

For reference, this is the relevent Falcon set:

It's Set 5, Luftwaffe WWII part 1, and contains the following:

Messerschmitt Bf 109B (designed to be used with Heller kits)/Bf 109E (to be used with Airfix and Matchbox kits)
Messerschmitt Bf 109E (designed to be used with Heller kits)/Bf 109F (to be used with Airfix and Matchbox kits)
Junkers Ju 87B Stuka (designed to be used with Fujimi kits)
Junkers Ju 87D Stuka (designed to be used with Fujimi kits)
Henschel Hs 129B (designed to be used with Airfix kits)
Horten Ho 229 (designed to be used with PM and Pioneer kits)

Heinkel He 219 (designed to be used with Revell kits)
Heinkel He 112 (designed to be used with Heller kits)
Focke Wulf Ta 154 (designed to be used with PM and Pioneer kits)

I know I have both the Heller canopy and the Falcon one. If you are using the canopy in a closed position, the Heller one should be fine. If you want it open, probably the Falcon. The Heller one would ship better, methinks (sturdier). I am considering using my He-112 canopy on my whif "He-121", but would rather use the Faller 1/100 He-111 "canopy" (of the top gunner) and figure out a way to fair the open end back into the fuselage. I haven't thought it all through, yet (why I am keeping both canopies for now). Give me a few days to research it and make up my mind. I'm pretty sure I can spare a He-112 canopy for you.

Fun with the Graf Spee rangefinder pic, eh!  ;D

Okay, but there's no rush on this: take your time. Either option would work for me.

What I want it for is the SCW GB, but since I have LOADS of potential models for that, it's no big deal if I can't do this one: I'll be doing SCW models for a couple of years if I do them all! The idea is to put it on Spanish licence-produced, locally modified He.100 to improve rear visibility: a case of them using whatever patterns are to hand.

That rangefinder could become a cartoon character in it's own right........

... the Squadron one AND the Heller one, if only you will give me your mailing address. I PM'ed you as well.
