Besides, I got shipped off for work and missed 10 days, 3 of which were on my prime drinking, I mean, modelling time !

I have Thursday and Friday of this week off work, so a four-day weekend should see the Goblin finished. However I hesitated to even type that in case I jinxed it......

Should have trusted my instincts and said nothing......

I live with my elderly, frail mother, who had a rough night and morning, so I'm having to care for her today. I'm not sure how things will develop, but obviously she's my first priority. However, I can't completely use that as an excuse: looking at the total number of things that still need to be done on the Goblin, I doubt whether I'd have finished it anyway.

I will try to finish the plane at least, since that's the actual model that I got from the Secret Santa, but if an extension is in the offing, I'd be very grateful for it, although I can't guarantee it will help if the situation with mum worsens.

EDIT: Forget it: other things have now gone wrong with the build which make it impossible to finish on time - sorry.

Indeed, my cunning calculations indicate it is currently eighteen hours to the deadline...
Although I could have gotten something wrong what with daylight savings still beng in effect here (damn you sports obsessed government!)

Afraid most of my model building time has gone into the Whiffies. I will get mine done, sometime, when I finally figure out how to do what I want to do.
