Does anyone have one, or more, Convair XFY-1 Pogos by KP, or Kopro as they're known these days please?

I need a few (you'll see why in the fullness of time....) and Pocketbond, who used to be the importers, aren't taking orders for them any more. EvilBay has a few for sale in the US with stupid shipping costs, more than the buying price, and I'm not willing to line the US Mail's pockets just now.

Trade or buy is fine with me, assuming I have what you need in The Loft. (Mostly 1/72 military, WWII onwards, and 1/144 airliners)

They make into a very nice model

Thank you Robert!

They did have two of them, but not any more......  -_-  ;D

If you can work without a KP there's a Lindberg one at Aviation World here in Toronto. They do mail order.

The Lindberg Pogo is 1/48 though, far too large for me I'm afraid, although it's a good model. I built one when I was 12-13 i think, and just LOVED the working contraprops!  ;D

Kit,

Like Chris I have one in the loft - let me know if you want it.

Bungle

Hi kit,

While rummaging around I came across an Airmdel vacuform POGO I'd forgotten about. Yours if you want it.

Bungle,

Thanks for the offer, but I have that one already. By comparison with the KP kit it's nowhere near the mark, but then it was done DECADES before!

Thanks guys, I now have all the Pogos I need.

Well for now anyway, I keep on thinking of mad things to do with the silly looking things....... ;)

A bit late, but I was in Plastic Pastimes the other day and they had two (that I spotted) on their shelves. Give them a ring, or I can pick them up for you next time I'm there (end of the month most likely)?
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Sandy,

Thanks for the pointer, sadly I missed it, and it was an excellent price too!  :banghead:

Still, I now have three and two more on the way, so all is not lost.
