Question # 1      How does the canopy of a Horten IX open?
                       A. does it slide back.
                       B. does it open over like a 262/109?
                       C. does it open upwards like a T-33?

Question # 2      Does anyone have "Night of the Generals" on DVD?
If so, what model T-34 was used as the Pz VI Tigers?
(they're different from the ones used in "Kelly's Hero's")

A couple of projects in the wings.

I feel sorry that nobody answers, Glenn. That does not mean your questions are stupid, we just do not have the answer (#1) nor positive answer (#2). Sorry... :(
Besides, maybe you do not go anymore, just like me  :( (I know I should...), on the general forum without picture, but such questions could be better there, I don't know.
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Wooksta,
I found this shot on the web, I think it says it all.
As to the T-34/Tiger, I think it's an early model, as it has the holes in the wheels. I remember seeing a Russian movie, back in the '70's called 'The Big Battle', about the Kirsk offensive, in that were T-34/85's and Tigers/T-34's, the first time anyone went to all the trouble.

You know, I love the HO 9. It's one of those classic birds that look as though it's flying even when on the ground. I can't help wondering how viable a fighter itd be if the design was actually built by the allies?? RAF/Commonwealth HO9's alongside buccs Phantom; Javelins and the like? A Navalised version. US versions; Modern Luftwaffe versions?? The performance stats I've seen for it show it to be a good performer, good armament, add a couple of hard points for AAM and away you go. Hmmm, I might get some of the PM ones and give them a go.
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

I've just finished the Pioneer 11 model in KM colours, (my own) from one of the new 'Super Carriers', it looks great with an arrester hook!
I have one in the wings, the revell one that will be in post war markings, it'll be different.
