Same here, but at least the white basecoat's done on mine (of course, been done for a year, but still...)

My 1/72 Airmodel vacform Seamaster has been 'partly finished' for over 7 years now.  :o

One day maybe, but then I'd have to scratchbuild that mind boggling beaching trolley. Maybe I'll bite the financial bullet and get a resin or Mach 2 version.

Ah, just found out only the Mach 2 vesrion comes with the trolley......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
