"Rei-Ka " +++ Figma-Bashing (Rei Ayanami vs. Reika Shimohira)

Hmmm, this one was actually born out of boredom and the fact that I had camera and set at hand - and it is not a real model, rather a bashing of parts from Japanese action figures.

For those who are not familiar with the so-called "Figma/Revoltech" figures from Kotobukiya: these are relatively high quality collector's items in 1:10 scale, fully articulated with ball joints, highly detailed and and they tend to come with alternative hands, faces and other stuff. Normally, these are based on anime characters. They make great mannequins for photo shootings... 

Anyway, I have some of these stashed away as speculation objects, and partly as benchmarks for figure conversions. Well, with my recent conversion of a Rei Ayanami into a new, dark plug suit in the back of my mind my eyes caught the figma of Reika Shimohira (a character from the Gantz manga, there are also two real action movies) and I wondered if THAT could not be a potential "different" plug suit for Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion...? Well, sick idea, and this is what came out...
