A couple of sites which I find amusing and horrific simultaneously and thought I should share.

First up a recommendation from a newspaper lead me to Cake Wrecks, a website about when cake decorations go horribly, horribly wrong... Although they also profile some of the best in eccentric decoration in the Sunday Sweets column, the only place you will find a whole collection of geek themed wedding cakes...

Secondly, from a recommendation from my mum who heard about it on the radio... this is why you're fat. Which is... worrying really.
My favourites are the bacon conucopia, the turtle burgers, picnic popsickles and spam wontons...
Not that I want to eat them you understand.

Anyway, hope these give you a chuckle.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

Actually I have seen a lot of the items on Food Network's "Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins" and Travel Channel's "Man vs. Food".  I have actually eaten some of the stuff mentioned.  In my defense I have been on a diet and exercise plan since January 1st, 2010 and have lost 17 lbs to date- but I digress.

I am surprised that they did not mention Fatburger's burger with the works (Bottom bun is slathered with mayonaise, one or two meat patties with or without cheese are placed on top, this is then followed by a scoop of Chili, on top of that is a fried egg, on top of that are two slices of bacon, on top of that is a leaf of lettuce, on top of that is a sliced onion ring (not a fried one), on top of that is a tomato slice, on top of that is some relish, on top of that are some pickle slices, on top of that is the top bun that has also been slathered with mayonaise- this is served with fries and a drink).  I had one of those once at lunch time and couldn't eat another bite until the next day's dinner time.
"As long as people are going to call you a lunatic anyway, why not get the benefits of it?  It liberates you from convention."- from the novel WICKED by Gregory Maguire.
