Here is the ugly Swordfish conversion promised.

A nod to the Vickers Valentia it is a transport /light bomber from the 1930's it found it's niche in Africa and the Middle East in Tribal policing duties.

An armor guy, who builds airplanes almost exclusively, that he converts to space fighters-- all while admiring ship models.

Now that is different.

But certainly something only a mother could love.

;D It definitely fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down

I was suprised how big a Swordfish actually is it fits fairly comfortably onto a Dragon Rapide body which carries 2or 3 times the number of people. It was a big Biplane

Definitely redefines "ugly!"  But it also redefines "Cool," too!

Outstanding!

Doc Yo

So both the donor kits are 1/72?! I would have guessed the Swordfish to be 1/48th...

Regardless, its a great looking concept!

tigercat

Yup they are both 1/72
