Fantastic - sure looks the part.  Would make a nice partner in crime for my treble-one Eagle ;)

Very nice paint scheme, and great job on the bare metal finish!

I like that Nev, very nice, I did consider a revival of the RAF high altitude fighter scheme for mine, medium sea grey over PRU blue, but decided to go NM.

Great job.

Any hints on masking checkered tails?  I have a 72nd Mig-15 that will be getting 39th FIS/51st FIW markings.

The way I did it ,and there are probably other, better ways, was to lay masking tape onto a ceramic tile ,draw the shape of the tailfin on the tape followed by the checkers.[ I made it easier by using 24mm tape and having 12mm checks. ] it was then a question of cutting the checks with a scalpel and laying the individual checks on to the tailfin, rub down the edges securely , I also brush over the edges of the tape with Klear/Future as this helps prevent any seepage under the tape.
