Quotesorry for hijacking your thread...............lets see more of the Baron

No worrys. Now I know who to go to for advice. ;D

As the Baron appears this afternoon. The color of the mat is distorting the red a bit. It'll look better once I get to the final photo shoot.

Alrighty then! It feels good to actually finish a model. The Baron was fun. The only thing I didn't like was not being able to replace the chrome after trimming off the parts from the parts tree. I took some artistic license here and there, but for the most part, this out of the box. The amazing thing is I don't have an extra parts left over! ;D

Without the brain bucket....

And with. It was hard to shoot this because of the reflective nature of the helmet. It's difficult not to get my own reflection in the photo.

Great!    Would have loved to see the 1/1 version.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Looks really cool!

Regarding the chrome: I saw a review for a chrome paint in a German modelling magazine, but I can't find it any more. It consists of a rather large tub of paint and you'd submerge the whole part into it, pull it out again and leave it to dry. Much like dunking canopies in future. The results looked spectacular. I think it was reviewed in some war gaming context, but I'm not sure.

Are you gonna use those wings as aerodynamic wings for the hot rod (à la F1 cars)?  :o
DUDE! That sounds really cool! I think I'll have to go back and get another Red Baron...;D

Do it!  Maybe with some further aerodynamic refinements such as stream-lined cowlings for the engine or a single seat...
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
