Hey Guys, Has Anyone Ever Built or Planned to Build a Dio Scene with some kind of Wrestling/Boxing Show? i read about Carnval/Fairgrounds type Sideshows and was Inspired to ask. Think some of the Model railroad Figures would work for a Scene like that? What Say You? Thanks for looking.Dan

What scale are you thinking about?
I know that Preiser also makes all sorts of figures in many scales.  The problem is converting military figures (common enough) to civilians (oddly enough, not so common, as opposed to the real world).

There is a very old kit (Aurora?) of a boxing ring with two boxers. I have only seen it once, many years ago. I estimate it to be in scale 1/20 (1/24?)

I had not Considered scale when Asking. part of the Reason i asked is because i was Planning another Project and Thought i could Build a Quick Ring Platform with some of the Stuff i was planning to use for the Project. btw,the Scene was planned to be a Pair of Possibly Bikini Clad Girls Wrestling on the Stage. Dan

1/1 scale would be so much better, especially f you get to clean them up afterwards too...

Think the Preiser "Eve" Figure would work for the Dio? seeing that they come Nude, i might turn it into a Nude Women's Wrestling match with a Crowd waiting to Watch the Match on Stage. Would a G Scale Figure like that work for the Dio?Dan

Tamiya had a set in 1/24 of drivers and swimsuit models.  However, there were no figures that one could say were "boxers or wrestlers" (at least not the WWE type- you could argue the University type).

I could suggest PSR, but that would also suggest more homoeroticism than TOP GUN.

Can Anyone tell me if it would be Workable to use Cardstock for making the Quick Ring i was planning? i've got some Wooden Sticks i was planning to use for Another Project & thought i'd use them for making the Ring's Floor with. Any Response? Dan
