For Halloween the missus and I adapted a design we saw on Food Network for our Pumpkin.

Great stuff!  We used to carve turnips & Swedes when I was a kid, you just couldn't get Pumpkins in the UK then.  They're quite common now around Halloween & make it much easier to do something artistic, although I've got to admire people when they get something intricate out of a turnip!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
