Maybe it will be interesting. Not a "Whif" anyway, simply an excellent built of the same model kit:

This is probably the best place to speak about this real history issue.

I know that FW-190 was manufactured in France, but:
Which versions?
Did Armée de l'Air used FW-190s after WWII?
Ju-88 were really used. I think they wore original german scheme.

IIRC the -190s were the short nosed versions - A5 possibly but I suspect it was a hybrid depending on what parts were available.

Edit - Just looked it up -65 NC-900s  built  between 1945 and 46 by SNCAC.
Allies captured 127 fuselages and 162 wings of Fw-190 A4/A5/A8 at Cravant, and 100 BMW 801s at Dordogne.
Main users GC 111/5 Normandie Niemen who flew them for 18 months. The remaining 51 used by CEV. Last flight 22nd June 1949.
There is no official documentation for any of the long nosed versions being used.

Aeronaval also used the Ju-188 post war.

The one thats always baffled me is British forces destroyed a large number of -190s in Norway instead of handing them over to the Norwegians. It would make a good Wif. Sorry not a thread hijack!!!
