A most excellent final result. Your perseverance through this troubled build  is a tribute to your skill and patience. Heck about half my canopies end up with crap inside them. Ignore it or if it really bugs you mix blue or teal colored ink with future and paint it on the canopy.
Love this build

I am seriously jealous over here.  I can honestly say I *wished* my models looked this good.  This is phenomenal.  Love that faded look.  So incredibly realistic.
Would like to see this model in a suitable diorama/background.  I'll bet you could fool a lot of people.
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Now it looks really good - from the side view it looks a bit like A-4 (nose part with cockpit), but everything else is Phantom-like :)

Really good work, and I'm glad you managed to finish it after all those misfortunes you've had during the work!

However, waiting for other two birds you work on - elegant Phantom and F-104 Delta ;)

Regards

The Phantom conversion in Single Engine/Single has been full of troubles but I see so many agreements to the my work that any effort is repaid in full.

I see only now that the Phantom Single/Single has the front that look like taken from the Skyhawk!
If I had seen before this similarity I could have graft on the front of a Skyhawk to the Phantom's body saving time and work!!!

But this is the idea for another project: a supersonic, enlarged Skyhawk with a J-79 engine.

The next project at be completed will be the Phantom "Viggen/Shado"
I'm ready to apply today the decals on it.

Awesome F-4!! This is a really cool build! Why didn't MDD do this one in real life??

In my opinion, British, Canadian, or USAF markings make things look so much better...

GM, I'm relatively new to this site (I tend to hang out at Starship Modeler) but, with the exception of the cockpit dust, this is a brilliant build.

Excellent work!

Maybe you should try to seal the cockpit in future builds somehow - just in case.

Elegant aircraft. I think it is as nice as the real one.

Exactly!
I have changed the my way of to work.
Every time I get the cockpit glass ruined in some way.. but this should be the last time that I get a ruined glass.
Since I'm building two/three kits simultaneously, starting  from the more kits I SEAL completely the canopy glass zone with tamiya tape: not a grain of dust must enter inside.

Truly impressive build and paint job - well worth all the effort!

Thanks at all the followers to the my Phantom S.E./S.E. !

There was a moment this summer on which I have seriously think to throw out of the window this conversion: a lot of things are gone bad on this project, the last trouble in order of time  was the dusty windshileld.

However, despite all the project is closed and I see a lot of enthusiasm: better so!
