I know it sounds like a bit of hyperbole but this store is pretty damn big! :o

Head into Norfolk on the A11 and follow the advert signs to turn off at Snetterton Racecourse. SP Models have 4 large halls full of toys, each hall is the size of Hannants warehouse in Lowestoft.
The last hall is mostly stuffed with model kits and there's more choice than Modelzone or even Hobbycraft. They stock Hasegawa, HobbyBoss, Tamiya, Airfix, Revell and some other small brands. One aisle for cars and trucks, one for aircraft in all scales and one for tanks and targets.

Photos to follow as soon as I find the cable to plug my phone in!

In the foyer is this wooden aircraft carrier which is the size of a family car, I think it's 1/48 scale roughly.

Lots of display stands and model railways to drool over!

Yes, that is Hitler sitting outside the Eagles Nest watching a Nazi parade.... :o

Four long aisles of kits. These are the tanks and targets. In the row behind are the model cars and trucks.

You could probably park a caravan or motorhome on Snetterton trackside and live there!
Forgot to mention that outside the shop is a rather large mini-racetrack for Tamiya's 1/24 radio control cars. It's probably the one seen on BBC East whenever they show radio-control races.

I think the Spitfire came from Duxford originally going by the IWM on the side. It's got to be a fibreglass copy and not the real thing because the black tape over the yellow paint is holding the wing leading edge together.

Damn it!  :banghead:

I was at Snetterton last month and never knew that place existed! But in October we off to Norfolk for a week's break, I forsee a lengthy stop-over en route.....  -_- ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's alright - James May will be right over to glue it back together.

Fantastic find Nick. What a place to get locked in overnight
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
