Hey Guys, a Question just popped into My Head.  would it Work to use a 2 Tone Paint Scheme for an ASR aircraft? i was Thinking about Painting a Plane in the Combo of Gray & Chrome Yellow with the Letters ASR on the Wings & Tail. Would that Work Depending on the Aircraft? one plane i'm Thinking about doing it with is a Model of the Canberra. What Say You? Thanks for looking.Dan

Dan, I think it would have to be a very glossy grey.  ASR schemes are very hi-viz in most instances (there are exceptions, of course - the German Navy's Sea Kings come to mind).  A camouflage grey would work, however, if you gave the aircraft areas of yellow (eg: wings, tail, nose, etc).

Plenty of planes have a mix of hi-vis rescue markings + regular camo.  RN & Belgian Sea Kings spring to mind.
