Hey Guys, What If Batman Got his Hands on Either an MBT or possibly an LAV-25? would that be Something Batman would have for a 'Ride'? the Idea just hit me & Thought i'd Post it. What Say You? thanks for Looking.Dan

An MBT is a bit impractical (120mm rounds tend to be a bit over-penetrating for "police" work....).

A LAV-based vehicle would certainly have it's uses though, and it's have the advantage of being relatively fast, which always seems to matter to Batman. Don't some US SWAT forces have LAV-based vehicles for real? I know some of them have V-150 Commandos.

Wouldn't such a big vehicle be a bit too high-profile or "clumsy" for Batman? I think the  Tumbler in the Nolan films is just about the right size. They must have had whiffers for designers. Only a whiffer would think of kit-bashing a Lamborghini and a Humvee.

They sure do! Cobb County, GA, even uses the LAV-300!  :o

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

He does use a tank in the alternate future shown in "The Dark Knight Returns".
And the current Batmobile is technically an armored fighting vehicle, although a rather impractical one, and really, it's just an excuse for it existing at all instead of him having to build it.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.
