Congratulations Gunbird

A fantastic effort and achievement.

I have always wondered why the 105 L5 gun was never fitted in place of the average capability 90mm!

If you don`t mind me saying your crew figure looks not to scale (he appears to be to large!)

Keep up the great work!

Maybe a JagdLeopard 1 next ;D

Model is 1/72, fig is 1/76. And humans vary in size anyway  ;D

No Jagdleopard, maybe one of the VT models, but none of that anytime soon as my next build will be in the T-34 range.

For those interested, the model took part in a so called Big Game and joined the German defenders near a possible Soviet fording point. As I was fighting my own (SAS) battle at that moment I wasn't there when it met its demise, most likely due to a ATGW hit, the russian VDV used tons of em, but what I gathered from its commander it fought well.

Small beautyshot included :D

Extensive battlereport and a flood of pics can be found here: http://www.guildwargamers.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=187&t=14529 Shots include a lot of scratchbuilt items, like russian minethrowers and clearers and bridges galore.

Cool pics!  Must have been one hell of a battle!  Would love to see a pic of the whole table. From the look of the pics, the table(s) must have been huge!
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
