I came up with this monster!
It confused several American tourists at the local hobby shop!

I feel like an American tourist... So close to a P-47, until I noticed details, and details again, and...yes, a nice monster!

       Hey, what's the scoop on this Corsair? Obviously a racer or planned racer. I've never seen this one. FWIW, my fav alternate paint for a Corsair is the WWII RN camo sceme. However, bare metal USAAF Corsairs (& Bearcats) are cool.

I followed it up with the P-52 Corsair, in a Blue Nosed Mustang scheme. I discovered that an aluminum schemed Corsair is just plain ugly, and didn't take any individual pictures of it by itself.

Don't do that!  Just give it a spinner.  I think one of the prettiest Corsair survivors is actually aluminum.

Great crossover between those two birds. I was figuring out what you could use use from which plane to mix a F6F with a P-47, but you beat me to it..
