As I do quite often, I am going to build a what-if plane with further what-ifing.
1- The reason I chose this model in my pile "models to build" is that I have one P-82 canopy remaining, and it could replace a thermoformed canopy (that I am alas unable to handle). And this one was a resin kit with probably a thermoformed canopy. Changing the canopy (into a bubble one) would be a first step in over-what-ifing.
2- Opening the box (Pend-Oreille Models 1/72, inventing as Bv P.224 a kind of symmetric twin-boom Bv P.194), I had the good surprise that there were 3 canopies included: I could tear apart 2 ones failing with success at last on the third. Or better: I could install the 3 of them, close to one another in an deeper delirium No I am not good enough with thermoformed canopies.
3- As I have two P-51 tailplanes also remaining, I could change the separate V-tail (that I built for the Unicraft BMW TL.III already) into a double V, asymmetric (both P-51 on port and both P.224 on starboard).
4- To stand better without undercarriage (included but I almost always discard them), I will truncate off the ventral jet, this will become a glider.
5- As I have not room enough for such a span, I will make the span far smaller.
All in all this will not be the (fake) Bv P.224 anymore but the (very fake) Bv-224B...

Detail on the canopy part, that I have not enough explained: I could either use the 1/72 Monogram P-82 one or else the 1/48 Ohka one I have found recently in my sparebox. Maybe 15 years ago, I have built one 1/48 Ohka, as a glider, but alas I took no picture of her (before digital cameras, making a photograph was about $1 or 1€ and there was hesitation). And I enjoyed this canopy so much I bought a second 1/48 kit of the same for 'what-ifing' another plane (I did not know the word what-if at that time, saying just 'personal delirium, plastic side')... This memory makes the 1/48 canopy the favourite candidate for this Bv-224B...

After truncation and gluing, it takes shape. The V V tail will give the final touch. But now, I have a lot of puty-sanding to make, first.

The modeller Tophe had no second P.224 tail nor 1/48 P.224 canopy, that is why a what-if half breed (P.224/Ohka/Mustang) has been built, but the TRUE Bv 224B actually used (in my dreams) all P.224 parts, enlarged or duplicated:
