With this being the third last Shuttle flight, I think it only fair that we, (of this page) submit our designs for the new Shuttle. I mean, it's either our designs or a Russian pod.........? Come on, submit your designs, model them if possible..........!

Something like BAC's MUSTARD always appealed to me. Three delta lifting bodies launching vertically together. The outer ones (booster vehicles) have a single pilot plus a shed load of fuel, some of which they pump into the orbiter (middle one) as they ascend. When they're spent, the boosters separate and fly back to a runway landing, and the orbiter continues into space with payload and/or passengers. All three vehicles have retractable turbojets to increase their cross-range capability on recovery.
