Me 262 D (Delta). Oberstlt. Heinz Bär, kommandeur of JV 46. Lechfeld, Germany. Summer of 1946.

This "projekt" probably influenced in one of the last designs of the professor Willy Messerschmitt after the end of the WWII; the spanish Hispano Aviación HA 300.

Really an imaginative product, and cool

Brilliant Idea.   It definitely looks like a Luft '46 design.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

nice job Fran - is this 72 scale?  I am aiming to do the 48 scale version still with the 2 jumo 004 underslung pods.  What did you use for the wings?  cheers  Bernie

Thanks to all.

dumaniac: The kit is on 1/72 scale. The fuselage is of a kit of Me 262 of Revell, and he wings (almost delta) of a kit of a Me P. 1111 of PM Models, adding two pieces of plasticard to get the total delta angle.

Some months ago, i posted other Me 262 delta. I called it Me 262 HG Delta, because derived from the Me 262 HG IV.

Here there are some pics of both.

Cheers
Fran

Note: Next "projekt" of Me 262: Me 262 Canard.

Great imagination, the second model is radically cool

Tophe

Are they unbuilt true projects or pure creations from your mind only?
Anyway: congratulations! and thanks

Dear Tophe, thanks.

No, i think the Me 262´s delta are not a real projects (what a pitty!).

Of the Me 262 i´ve sixteen versions (precursors and derivates too).

My models are a compendium/combination of real and imaginary projects; ones that existed, others not, but these could be real. For this question i like the whifies; because you can to create. As yourself well know with your profiles and models made from others kits.

All the best
Fran
