The Wooksta!

Another one of my older ones, now retired to the mantlepiece.

Gloster Meteor T.3 of Station Flight RAF Acklington, early 1950s.  I'll leave you to guess at the recipe for this one...

Hmm, Airfix F3 wings to kick off, with maybe the same kit's fuselage with your hated M'box NF11 canopy grafted on? Or an Aeroclub T7 conversion with F3 wings?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Very nice.

Did you cross kit the Airfix Meteor Mk.111 and Matchbox NF.11/12/14?

The Wooksta!

Yes and no.  Two Airfix Meteors for the fuselage, Meteor NF11/12 for the top decking and canopy.  It all went together a dream, although it was a happy accident IIRC as I'd glued the fuselage shut and just had to keep going.
