Got a host of Revell 1/72nd Walrus kits (ex-Matchbox).

The Loire 127 was a monoplane flying boat which was built in an almost bewildering number of versions.
I'm beginning with the Loire 127A, in French navy colours (decals from the kit).
The fuselage is built, an extra "level" added to the forward fuselage top, above the main cabin. This has an opening/hatch and a windscreen. The main cabin has a solid roof.
Hopefully I'll finish soon, and photos will appear, but I need to build flaps, add hatches, and lots of other things before painting.
Meanwhile, here's inspiration in the form of the 127's "development", the very REAL Loire 130.

Hoping to progress a bit over the next couple of days. I want it done and finished by Christmas....

Looking forward to it! Sounds like a really interesting concept. I have an Airfix Walrus - is the Matchbox one better?

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

To be honest I've not looked at the Airfix kit, but I'm considering picking one up to wiff purely for the decals...the Argentine option.
The Revell is generally considered to be better, a lovely biplane originally done by Matchbox, whose biplanes were great. Fits well with great decals...RN and French.
Ended up writing Christmas cards last night so not a lot done.
But I'm hopeful. ;)

Nice model.  I like aircraft with multiple tails.
