Aircraft with Scarlet Red Paint Scheme Query

Hey Guys, i Recently purchased some Badger Acrylic Paint, the Color is Scarlet  Red. Think that Color would Work for a 'Thunderbirds' style Paint job on Either an SR-71,Mig-21, or a Skyray? have a Few ideas, But thought i'd ask first. What say You? thanks for looking.Dan

Yeah I'd have thought so. If it looks a bit overpowering, then break it up with some big stripes of white, black or yellow.

NACA research aircraft in the late 40s were painted bright red, until they discovered that ground observers had trouble picking out the aircraft against a blue sky.  Thereafter they went white with orange trim.
