As always looking forward to this weekends Model Show at the Midland Air Museum, Coventry Airport, certainly one of the nicest, if not biggest of the year. I have a couple of small resin items coming out (and of course everything has whif potential), these including;

1/72nd Scale;

Supermarine Swift belly tank (for Xtrakit FR.5) - £3.00

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I early 'forked' pitot (for Airfix - two included) - £1.00

1/48th Scale;

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.II(LR) conversion (for Tamiya Mk.I - includes Rotol prop, Coffman starter bulge and 30 Gallon tank under port wing) - £7.00

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I early 'forked' pitot (for Airfix - two included) - £1.50

I will also have my reprinted decals for Anti-Flash Insignia in 1/72nd, plus the 1/48th Griffon Seafire sheet, more Avro 720's and new items from Alley Cat including the 1/48th Sea Vixen FAW.1 conversion (and very impressive it is to).

I said it before and I'll say it again, one of my favourite shows, thanks!

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit, your most welcome to donate funds towards my fuel bill up the M40, not to mention hotel bill for Saturday night!

In case anyone is interested, the 1/48th Spit II(LR) is the same set that was released via SAM in the late 90's, although designed for the Tamiya kit it will fit on the recent Airfix one (Mk.I/II) with the 'application of modelling skill', ie grinding a bit of resin off the top of the tank to compensate for the thicker wing. I also have a handful of tanks in 1/72nd to, originally designed for the 70's Airfix Mk.I, these will also fit the new Mk.II after a bit of grinding....
