Looking good Alun.

I note your use of propelling pencil lead for struts. Do you find the lead has enough strength ? I would have thought it would have been a little to brittle and would shatter whilst cutting to length ?

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Allan

here she is, finished

my whiffhistory is that Tony Fokker permitted one war-weary example to be sent to Japan for evaluation

there the Japanese fitted a three-bladed prop and gave it a SE5A rudder and the result was a plane that climbed and turned like a demon

in my world Triplanes were made with wooden fuselages and usuallly had lozenge camo

I also used the soak a piece of cloth in white glue to simulate a tarp to avoid doing any cockpit work

thanks, Chris
the lead can be easily cut by scoring around with a knife and then snapping it, followed by gentle sanding
this is a dog of a kit and I don't recommend it for young modellers
the undercarriage has to be atached to the fuselage with four (! spindly ones too) struts and the little skids under the lower wing are really tiny and hard to trim, sand and attach in position
