Although the C.I.A has a large part of the anti drug cartel task force in Honduras, its transport is a bit thin on the ground. The agency operate just 3 helicopters, 2 of which are of European origin and one which is originally American but license built in Italy. It is believed the helicopters are either captured hardware or bought through middle men from the civil market second hand. All markings and serial numbers both inside and out have been removed, thus making servicing a bit of a chore. The Helicopters look fit for the scrap yard, but only cosmetically as they are in actual fact kept in a very high state of service, and all work is carried out behind closed doors by C.I.A. operatives.
