Looks like a skinny Amarillo.  There's USAAF & USN fonts available that are a close match for me anyway.  PM if you need them.

Those '2's the Italians use are different to most military fonts, with the slanted oblique stroke. I can't make a match with the RAF, RCAF or USAF fonts I have.

Other fonts are available of course.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Hello,

You can find some of the numbers ('0', '1', '2', '3', '4', '5' and '6') by clicking the link "MAI 41 – ITALIAN AF F-104s (1); (2)" at the web site of Richard J. Caruana :

http://sites.google.com/site/rjcaviationart/decalarchive

(It must be possible to trace them in a program like coreldraw and then save them to a true type font, but with my version of coreldraw I could not save them)

Greetings,

FilipFr
