off the beer topic ,It (the Larc) was at the army museum near Wodonga at Bandiana.. when i was up in Aulbury  last month.not a bad museum too ..I had to take 10 paces back to fit in the view finder when i took the photo. Its about 10 ft high. Here is another angle sorry it got blurey

Some of us grew up with good quality beer and know what it should taste like.  Nothing but the Coopers Family's products for me!

Lager is drunk cold because a) the cold kills the taste or b) it's got no taste and has to be cold to give it some interest.

"Proper" beer (Ale I suppose) should be kept and drunk at cellar temperature - 58/62 degrees F I think - as it is still alive in the barrel. I grant that when we get exceptionally warm weather it loses it's attraction and then I switch to cider. When I was in Aus I drank VB, which was ok coldand awfull warm. Case of "when in Rome"
