So, i finally got off to building that awesomely huge 1/72 Academy Cessna A-37 / T-37 / OA-37. (its tiny!)
That when i reached the problem...Academy decals wont stay stuck. So it will now be either Italian, Spanish or Yugoslav!

Watch this thread for updates on this european camouflaged Cessna!

The plastic in this kit is white, so ive painted the insides black or grey, to avoid light shining through when its done...

Were you trying to affix the dEEcals to a gloss-painted surface, flat-painted surface or non-painted surface?

Hmm, i tried some academy decals on that F-15 you can see in the first photo. The paints are matt revell paints, but it turned gloss when it was rubbed / polished. It looked bad when my fingers had left gloss markings on the wings, so i polished it all. Academy decal wouldnt work though

The kit now has the dark grey paint on top (same as the F-15, coz it will looks very worn very fast), and today i will paint bottom light grey, and i will need the green camo on top. And lots of black bits and bobs.

On a side note, Singapore Airlines will start flying A-380 to london today. Incase it comes over my house, i will be ready! ;D

Sweet Tweet (couldn't resist).
For the decals, maybe try a glosscoat with Future/Klear for better adhesion?  It does tend to make the paint hues darker once wet, though.  And, for matte military schemes, you'd have to finish up with a spray of flat clear.

Did you find this a good model to build?  I have one in the stash I'd like to modify.

Yes, it is very very good! Everything fits like a glove!

Very recommended for kiddie builds too!
