Makes me wonder about a MiG-21 with Lightning wings...

IIRC, I have an 1:100 Tamiya Lightning somewhere in The Stash.

How about a Lightning with MiG 21 wings instead?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've got a part built Lightning with Su-9 wings on it.  IIRC no pics (but will check) and in deepish storage pending house sale and subsequent move.

It DOES look good in that scheme. I have a long term project in mind for a scenario where the Cold War as we know didn't happen and led to all sorts of interesting things like a MiG -19 & 21 beIng operated by the RAF, Russia operating the Vulcan, Buccaneer and, a cooperative design between BAC and Tupolev to develop TSR.2 My favorite one though would a naval  SU-22 in Fleet Air Arm colours. I am sorely tempted by this one!

Great pic of a classic!
My only question is who designs the fins on some of these Russian missiles?
