The nickname of this airplane reads "Snooks". This does (and did) not sound very Spanish*. Was it for English-speaking volunteers?
(*: I have not studied Spanish at school but I saw many Zorro episodes: "Buenas noches Senorita"!)

Hi Tophe,

Quotea wave of international brigadists joined the republic like the pilot of this aircraft, an americain volunteer, or the other crew member, a german from Bavaria.

Oh sorry, I had a quick reading (mainly admiring the photographs), everything was explained. Shame on me >:(

Very,very nice job, Rafi.

BTW, When did WWII start in this alternate timeline of yours?

Because I assume the only way Kondorubutai's aircraft, land materiel and men could getto Spain is with no wwII around and with most ofthe issues on China mostly settled.

Army of One

Hi,

Thanks a lot to both of you.

QuoteBTW, When did WWII start in this alternate timeline of yours?

For me WW2 is a potential what-if because it never occurred...

Sorry and shame on me for my late answer, I did'nt see your comments.
