Hey Guys, has Anyone Ever Built a Model or Done a Profile of the Mosquito as an ASR(Air Sea Rescue) Plane? just something that Kinda jumped into my Head Now!  I've Always Thought the Mosquito was a Cool & Tough Aircraft. Part of the Reason i ask is because I'm Curious & Also because i was Thinking about Getting a Mosquito Kit from my LHS,Considering Painting it up like an ASR Plane. Think it would Work? Thanks for Looking.Dan

Dan,

Mosquito trainers were sometimes overall yellow, so an ASR schemed aircraft might confuse a few on the tables.

Depending on how authentic you want the paint job to be the ASR scheme was not all Yellow when the trainers were. If you were to do it in a more authentic scheme then you could look at the schemes used by the SAR Lancaster's for inspiration.

Dan, I'm sorry to be rude but can you please stop capitalising every word of your posts?  It makes them hard to read.

Sorry, just going by What i see here @ times. didn't mean to cause any problems.Dan

It's ok and I'm sorry if I've caused offence.

It happened with a poster on another forum I frequented and a lot of people complained.  He said he was being different, which I normally defend but when you can't read a post because the poster insists on being different, then you just ignore what they have to say.  Which is wasting everyone's time.
