Draken Lightning Hybrid Idea

Hey Guys, what if somebody combined the Draken & the BAC Lightning to Create a Hybrid Interceptor jet? what do you Think,would it work? What say You? thanks for looking. PS:the Idea just Struck me as i was using the Search Function! Dan

I don't see why not.

A lightning with the Draken cranked delta wing would look super cool. The extra wing area would probably also improve the lightning's range and endurance.

AND you could use the Draken's intakes to feed the upper Avon, which means you could make the radome bigger, effectively turning the nose intake into a chin intake.

It's a bit tricky carving up a Draken kit because the wing is usually moulded in one piece with the fuselage and, since the latter is area-ruled, the dividing line isn't straight line in any plane.
