So, how many F-14s did the Iranians get?   At least five are obviously flying.  There may be more which didn't participate in the flypast.   Wonder how well the electronics are working though?

79 F-14's were aquired(with 80 originally ordered- that sole embargoed aircraft joining the U.S.N.) with rumours of 20-30 still servicable(though it's unclear if all their parts are still in working order).

Mmm, I wonder where they source their tyres from?  I'd have thought they'd be pretty specific to aircraft type.  Retreads?

I'll throw you one better, what're they putting on those hardpoints?  AA-12s?  And if so, how much of the electronics have been switched out as well, I wonder.

Tires are not that hard to produce locally. There's bound to be a tire factory somewhere in the country, all they need is a few tools that are specific to this tire size.
