Gentelman
I have been contemplating a Caesar 155mm SPH 'halftrack' variant!
This I think will offer some further advantages to this intelligent and practical design.
It would increase the designs off-road capability and mobility!
It will give a far more stable platform when firing (even negating the need of stabilizing jacks, when firing!)

So that is my idea, for an even better compromise between the traditional, heavy and costly fully-tracked SPH, and the often criticized wheeled-SPH

Who is up too and skilled enough for do this of profiling?

Robert, in truth it's a case of what is available in artwork.  I've got three separate variants of the M3 Half Track along with five Sdkfz 251 variations.  I'm assuming one of those would be the baseline vehicle as the half-track has fallen out of favour it seems in the modern world.  I'm sure there are exceptions to prove this rule, but whether there would be line-art of them is another matter.

How about, it would look cool!

They wouldn't use either M3 or the SdKfz 251 as their baseline Mav.   They'd more than likely use some sort of light components.   As its a French vehicle, more than like AMX-10p suspension.   Many years ago, the British produced their Centaur half-track which used Landrover cab and chassis with Scorpion suspension components.   It was a great idea - low price, large economies of scale and high utility.   Unfortunately there were no buyers.  Nowadays Armies see either fullytracked or no tracks - wheeled vehicles.   They don't see the point in a half-way house vehicle.

The Tank Museum at Bovington drag their Centaur out for Tankfest every year - it's a pretty useful-looking thing.

Of course, you could always have it that some tin pot dictator in somewhere like Africa gets some old half tracks upgraded with Caesar...
