This project began as a simple question. See http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,5141.15.html from post titled "Engine question". But the seggestions that Jeffry made, led me to envisage two proper buildings. Now as a summary, I include only past pics here:

Right now, things are: The engine in left will be a turbofan and the one in right a turbojet. I will try to add pieces of styrene up until they look proper and complete engines. I order to acheive an acceptable result I will post here some graphic info and would be very grateful if can help me.

BTW Which alternative first/second do you prefer for each engine left/right?

Currently working in the turbofan. I think that I can work with the EJ200 pics. But any contribution will be more than wellcome.
I have not any idea about the appropriate engine I should use as a model for the turbojet. Any suggestion?
The kind of info I need is:

Carlos,

I like this combination of parts

Of course it all depends on where you plan to put the engine and how much of it will be available for view after assembly.  Maybe you should consider a cart to display the engine next to the model?

Me too.

Currently thinking in RR Avon as installed in EE Lightning (Draken installation is too complicated) as a model for the turbojet.

Hey Carlos,
a real world engine that resembles your little guy, the Pratt & Whitney XJ57-P-1:

Can anyone give me a link in which I could see the main components and tubing I should attach around these?
You can see: a '80s turbofan and a '60s turbojet.
I do not want to build a perfect model of a not existing engine ;D , just something credible.

Thanks in advance. ;)

Using P&W F100 turbofan and J57 turbojet respectively as models:
