French "Air Superiority Blue" scheme.  Does anybody know what the actual colour of the air superiority blue on the upper surfaces is in either the Humbrol or Tamiya ranges?

IPMS Stockholm mentions Humbrol 79 or 144.  H79 is more grey, H144 more blue.  I've checked a few pics & I'd lean towards H79, although in brighter light it seems to show up more like H144.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thanks.  Its a very odd colour.  The old Heller kit I'm building uses Heller paint references.  The only conversion chart I've found which has them and Tamiya and Humbrol is this one - http://www.paint4models.com/.

It comes up with Tamiya XF54 and Humbrol 140 to match the Heller 7001 - "Admiralty Blue" which is what the instructions suggest.  Problem is that seems to suggest a more grey colour than blue.

I fear I'm going to have to mix my own.  I hate doing that 'cause I can never seem to get the exact same shade twice.   :banghead:
