About 6 or 7 years ago, I picked up am F-Toys JMSDF Sea King helicopter to convert into a Civil Air Patrol SAR helicopter as a gift for my father.  At the time he was a Lt Col and the Deputy Wing Commander for the Michigan Wing Civil Air Patrol.  It sat on his desk in the Wing HQ until he retired from CAP and now sits on his desk at home.  The conversion was simple.  I painted over the JMSDF marking and added self-made CAP decals, with the registration number coming from my spare decal bag.  At the time it was, and might still be, the only helicopter in the Civil Air Patrol.
