An unusual question.  Does anybody know of a B-57B conversion kit for the Airfix B(I)8 kit?   I'm aware that Italeria makes a B-57B but how well does it compare to the newer Aifix Canberra kits?  I'm also aware of the older Airfix B-57B kit as well, which I assume doesn't compare very well at all?

Brian, if you're willing to go up in scale, Airfix do a 48th B-57B/G.

They also did a 72nd B-57B/RB-57E back in the day when they changed the moulds from the B.20.

I built the B-57G and was quite enamoured with the kit.  Whilst I suspect that it isn't has bells & whistles as the newer Airfix releases, I still think the kits were quite nice.

One of the guys in my modelling club has cross-kitted an Italari B-57B with the latest Airfix Canberra, but I don't know which Mark he started with. To my mind the Italeri kit was just fine as it was, doing all that to an Airfix kit was lots of hard work for only very little pay-back, apart from knowing that he'd done it of course.
