Very nice stuff Icchan
Even in sci fi plastic rounds cause problems. The weapons in David Drake's Hammers Slammers books use plastic cased ammo. The rounds each carry a small gas charge for cooling and ejection. In enclosed spaces the burning cases outgas and fill the compartment with fumes and the pistols don't really carry enough gas to function reliably :-\

Sounds typically Drake - overly complex for not much return.  He'd have been better off externally cooling his weapon's chamber through solid-state electronics.   I would assume that in the future, these already highly efficient little creatures would become even more efficient and smaller.   Let them suck the heat out of the chamber and thereby prevent cook-offs.
