Pirate 'Boat'

My son is having a Pirate day at school. As part of it they are racing home made Pirate boats... this is what 'we' have made...

A small ice cream tub, some balsa, paper, matchstick, cotton thread, and the sails were made from a lucky find (by Mrs. Hman) in Tescos (plastic childrens party table cloth).

Agreed, it's one very fine vessel! A word of advice........don't whatever you do loosen the futtock shrouds on your masts! I'll leave it to the rest of the crew to describe your terrible fate if you do!

Thanks for all the kind comments. The race is next week, I will let you know how it goes. Oh and the boat does float, I tried it out in the kitchen sink!
