So...what if...

Frank Whittle, exhausted from beating his head against the wall of obstinancy in the UK over his jet engine designs, takes a holiday, and goes to visit relatives in the US. One of whom happens to have friends at Bell Aviation, and a visit is arranged for the not yet Sir Frank. Whilst there, he is asked if he knows anything about turbocharging, something the American aircraft manufacturers have been beating their heads against the USAACs' obstinancy for some time now...
Well...he tells them about this  little project he's been working on. Soon, cocktail napkins are being doodled on and something wonderful happens...

Sorry, it's my new motivation tool. Post some teasing info, then I'm obligated to finish the model. Completing models is something that has been escaping me lately.
