many years ago now my son built a formula one car but broke off the wheels so he fitted wings etc from my bits box and came up with this

he won his first show medal with this at the northen show and until our recent move was in pride of place in his room, but sadly it was put in the wrong box and was taken to the skip, and so in now lost.

now today i picked up in the modelzone sale in sunderland a F14 and a mclaren mp4 race car for £5 each so taken the above as inspiration i give you my F1 car for 2030

something like this

Don't get too carried away, Lenny! Your son's minimalist modifications are near-perfect!

Very cool design.  Not silly, inspired.  Keep him supplied with material!

Yeah, obvious when you think about it...

Which none of us did! Good one lenny!

I remember your son's build, it was really good
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If he's old enough to be in to real cars and girls, than he can be forgiven, lol!

The Ferrari is cool and on the point. Personally, I had some time ago the idea to convert a 1:20 F1 race car into a Ma.K. light fighter. Your creation goes into that direction, just with flashier colors. Nice job!
